Computer Vision and Graphics is a research area focused on enabling machines to interpret, understand, and generate visual information. It encompasses two main aspects:

Computer Vision involves teaching computers to perceive and analyze visual data from the world, such as images and videos. Techniques in this field include object recognition, image segmentation, and motion analysis. Applications range from facial recognition systems to autonomous vehicles, where machines need to interpret their surroundings to make informed decisions.

Graphics involves the creation, manipulation, and rendering of visual content, whether it’s photorealistic imagery, animations, or virtual environments. This area supports industries like gaming, film, and augmented/virtual reality, producing digital visual experiences by simulating physical properties like light, materials, and physics.

Together, these areas advance technologies like augmented reality, 3D modeling, image synthesis, and interactive visual experiences.
